1. Introduction & Objective

The ZWB Omnium is a new race format that brings together all facets of Zwift e-racing into one compact event of approximately 90 minutes. The format is designed to determine the most complete e-racer per category, emphasizing fairness, fun, and race dynamics.

2. Race Format & Events

The ZWB Omnium consists of four separate events with 5-minute breaks in between to recover and switch worlds.

1. The Prologue (Event 1)
What: Individual Time Trial (ITT).
Duration: Approx. 10 minutes (6 KM).
Rules: No drafting. Fixed TT bikes only. Custom finish line.
Goal: Set the fastest time over the course.

2. Sprint Quali (Event 2)
What: Fastest Segment (FTS) challenge on a circuit.
Duration: 2 laps (Approx. 10-15 minutes).
Rules: Drafting and lead-outs are allowed. Multiple chances to set your best time.
Goal: Set the quickest time over the designated sprint segment.

3. The Spicy Scratch (Event 3)
What: Climbing Scratch Race.
Duration: Approx. 25-30 minutes (14.5 KM).
Rules: Drafting enabled. Significant elevation. Custom finish line.
Goal: Be the first to cross the finish line.

4. Crit Royale (Event 4)
What: Points Race Finale on a local circuit.
Duration: Approx. 30 minutes (15 KM).
Rules: Drafting and Power-ups enabled. Points at intermediate sprints and the finish.
Goal: Accumulate the most points throughout the race.

4. Points & Rankings

The Prologue (Event 1) & The Spicy Scratch (Event 3):
Points are awarded based on your finishing position:
40, 38, 36, 34, 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22... decreasing to 1 point.

Sprint Quali (Event 2):
Points are awarded for your ranking on the Fastest Time on Segment (FTS):
20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2...

Crit Royale (Event 4):
Points are earned directly during the race and added to your total score:

Final Ranking = The sum of all points collected across all four events. The rider with the most points wins the Omnium.

Conduct: Sportsmanlike and respectful behavior is expected in-game and on Discord.

Jury & Protests: Jury decisions are binding. Protests can be submitted within one hour after an event.

By participating in the ZWB Omnium, every rider declares to have read and agreed to these regulations.
